"I think the Geriatric Section is important because no matter what other sections you're a part of, you're always going to encounter geriatric patients. The population is getting older and growing, so we will need to see more of these patients. Personally, I feel like the geriatric population is sometimes taken advantage of and one day this will be you, so why not be caring and empathetic toward the patients who need to learn to function and cope with the aging process."
