From the inaugural Women's Leadership Summit to the Maley Lecture and engaging House deliberations, the focus was on connection, collaboration, and advancing the profession.

The 2024 APTA Leadership Congress, held July 19-23 in Kansas City, Missouri, united APTA leadership groups from across the association to advance the profession, strengthen the APTA community, and foster mutual learning. Check out photos from the event, which featured APTA's community service event with the local Boys & Girls Club, APTA's Women's Leadership Summit, the annual in-person meetings of the APTA House of Delegates, the John H.P. Maley Lecture, and the APTA State Payment Advocacy Forum.

On July 19, APTA hosted an event for the Greater Kansas City Boys & Girls Club. APTA members educated teens about healthy movement through interactive learning experiences.

The APTA Women's Leadership Summit concluded with a fundraiser for the PT Fund at CPKC Stadium, the first women's professional sport stadium in the world.

On July 21 and 22, APTA's House of Delegates engaged in productive discussions about the future and took action to help advance the profession.

APTA State Payment Forum took place on July 23 and gathered APTA legislative and pay chairs, presidents, executive directors, and other component leaders to share strategies and legislative solutions to address physical therapy payment and administrative burden at the state level.
