The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research is now accepting applications for two major research funding programs projected to provide scholarships in 2024.

The Promotion of Doctoral Studies I & II Scholarships, known as PODS I and II, support doctoral studies in physical therapy research. The PODS I program offers scholarships of up to $7,500, targeted at students in the coursework phase of post-professional studies prior to candidacy; the PODS II program offers scholarships of up to $15,000 to support activities in the post-candidacy phase of post-professional study. Applicants from all specialty areas are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility and application information is available on the foundation’s website. The application process will open Oct. 4; deadline to apply is Jan. 3, 2024. Final notifications are slated for late June 2024.
