Overview
This revised guideline from the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association provides updated recommendations to support evidence-based practice, including tailored clinical decision-making, about managing Achilles tendinopathy. This guideline does not include interventions outside typical scope of physical therapy practice (e.g, pharmacological interventions, surgery) or extracorporeal shock wave therapy.
