Connect, advocate, and make an impact alongside fellow physical therapy professionals and students on Capitol Hill from July 14-15. This event, in conjunction with APTA Leadership Congress, is for APTA members and provides an opportunity for you to share and amplify your voice with legislators on Capitol Hill.

Reasons to Attend APTA Capitol Hill Day

  • Advocate for our profession: Be a part of influencing policies that shape the future of physical therapy.
  • Meet your representatives: Engage directly with elected officials and their staff to champion our cause.
  • Empower yourself: Receive essential advocacy training and strategic planning sessions on July 14.

Prepare for Your Meetings

As a registered attendee, you'll get access to a webinar on June 24 at 8 p.m. ET. It's your guide to navigating logistics and understanding the issues we'll address. Can't make it? No worries — a recording will be available for registered participants.

Plan Your Trip

Arrive in Washington, D.C., before noon on July 14 to ensure that you're ready for the advocacy training on Monday evening. Schedule your return flight for after 5 p.m. on July 15 to accommodate all Capitol Hill meetings.

Empower Yourself Through Training

The advocacy training on July 14 is mandatory.

Scheduling Your Meetings

APTA will schedule your legislator meetings for you. Do not book legislative meetings on your own.
