I am not only grateful, but incredibly inspired after receiving the Minority Scholarship Award. I'm thankful for the time that I have been able to spend with the resilient individuals battling homelessness as well as the hard-working young students who I serve. I have learned so much, such as resourcefulness, courage, perseverance, and making it despite the odds. I am honored to continue to passionately serve these groups, as I continue to work as a health care professional in my community
