Participation as a member of the APTA Health Promotion and Wellness Network is open year-round. The next call for leadership positions in this network will open in July 2024 for terms beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Description
The chair and co-chair of the APTA Health Promotion and Wellness Network are appointed by the APTA president. Together, the chair and co-chair lead a community for stakeholders who are interested in incorporating prevention, health promotion, and wellness as an integral aspect of physical therapist practice, as well as in promoting and advocating for healthy lifestyles to reduce the burden of disease and disability on individuals and society.
Participation as a Network member is open year-round. Only chair and Co-chair positions are subject to application and selection deadlines.
