Among the many joys of being a physical therapist (PT) or physical therapist assistant (PTA) are the relationships we form with our colleagues. They not only enrich us personally, but also make us better at what we do, as we all work together on behalf of the patients and clients we serve. What happens, though, when the colleagues to whom we turn for professional guidance and interpersonal collegiality turn their backs on us rather than extending their hand?
