As physical therapy providers, we’re famous — or perhaps infamous — for our catchphrase: It depends. We’ve all seen how different factors can impact our work: a patient’s lifestyle, home situation, motivation, goals, and comorbidities can all affect the efficacy of their treatment. And it’s our job to course-correct when needed. By our very nature, PTs and PTAs must be resilient, adaptable, and willing to thrive in uncertainty.
