While no two people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis are alike or experience the disease the same way, there’s a great deal of collective knowledge and wisdom to be shared by health care providers, people with ALS, family members, and caregivers. Understanding the disease and recognizing the symptoms early on is key to diagnosing it sooner and helping to make ALS a livable disease.
