The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released the proposed 2024 Medicare Part B Physician Fee Schedule. In the first part of our recap, we covered conversion factor cuts, as well as several potential gains for the profession around coding, supervision, and telehealth. Here's a quick rundown of more elements of the proposed rule, with a focus on provisions associated with the Medicare Quality Payment Program, or QPP, which includes the Merit-based Incentive Payment System.
