[Note: Since publication of this article in December, Mathematica announced that it began sending participation invitations in February, and plans to do a second round of invitations in March/April.]

Beginning in January, a sample of physical therapy practices across the country will be invited to participate in a survey that will be used to shape practice expense estimates, a component that figures heavily into payment. APTA is urging participation — it's been 15 years since the last survey was conducted, and the perspectives of PTs are needed.

Look for an email from ppisurvey@mathematica-mpr.com as well as a U.S. Postal Service priority mail packet. This APTA article from October offers more details on who should fill it out, what information will need to be on hand, and how to complete the survey over multiple sessions. Questions?
