I heard the greatest song yesterday! It's one of my all-time favorites—gets the foot tapping, the heart singing, puts things in perspective. It likely wouldn't be on your Top 10 list, though. Maybe not even in your Top 1,000.

On a similar note, I recently submitted myself to some advanced testing, preparatory to training for and participating in the Race Across America this June. I'll be part of a 2-person team that will cycle more than 3,000 miles in about 7 days, from Oceanside, California, to Annapolis, Maryland. As a result of those test results, a physician offered me guidance on specific nutritional supplements and dietary fuels to optimize the training. Were you to train for the same event, however, your body's needs would look much different from mine, because each of us has unique gaps that need to be filled.
