What it measures:

How neck pain with or without concomitant upper extremity symptoms affects ability to manage everyday life activities

Target Population:

People with acute or chronic cervical pain or radiculopathy

From Moeti and Marchetti, 2001:

  • Used as outcome measure to show significant improvement.
  • When combined with numeric pain rating scale, shows more comprehensive assessment.

This test was identified by APTA's Orthopaedic Section for use in functional limitation reporting.
