APTA is committed to gathering information and resources about COVID-19 and Long COVID to help clinicians provide optimal care.
The evidence guiding best practice for treatment of Long COVID is evolving rapidly. Plan to review literature, such as PTJ: Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal, for relevant information often. New resources will be added as indicated. You may also find valuable resources from the APTA Sections and Academies.
Additionally, members can access the COVID-19 and Long COVID online community on the APTA Hub to share resources and ask questions. Sign up to receive alerts about updated content.
Physical therapist clinicians who treat this patient population can identify themselves to consumers by creating or updating their listing in APTA's Find a PT directory on our consumer website ChoosePT.com. The "Practice Focus" filter includes an option for COVID-19/Long COVID.
