Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, payment for outpatient therapy services furnished by physical therapist assistants is scheduled to be reimbursed at 85% of the Medicare Fee Schedule. Patients are at risk of losing access to therapy services, especially in rural and underserved areas, just as we fight our way back from a pandemic that has increased patient need for those services and challenged the financial stability of providers.

On this APTA Live event, we'll provide an update on the proposed 2022 Medicare Fee Schedule rule and opportunities to take action and advocate to both the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Congress on the PTA differential.
