How well are the big rocks fitting into your life?

I'm not talking about diamonds, but something much more precious. This question is a critical one to address on a personal level, and it's something to discuss with your wellness clients, as well. Before you can do so, though, you must be mindful of the rocks that most matter, and know how best to accommodate them.

Last month, Stephen Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People celebrated 30 years in print. When Covey, who passed away in 2012, spoke to audiences, he'd often bring onto the stage a big jar, a container of water, and some sand, pebbles, and big rocks. He'd then engage the audience in a little exercise. He'd begin by pouring the water and sand into the jar. Then he'd add the pebbles. Last came the big rocks.
