Throughout my undergraduate studies, I had always been on the quieter side and stuck to what I knew, which was track and field, community service, and focusing on my academics.

I didn't run for leadership positions or get involved in new things due to a lack in self-confidence and fear of failure.

When I began physical therapy school at the University of Connecticut, I wanted to get outside of my comfort zone and break out of my space.
