APTA CSM: Claiming Your CEUs
Attendance the 2021 APTA Combined Sections Meeting may be worth up to 2.0 CEUs (20 contact hours/CCUs), based on successful completion of post-tests by March 31.
Note that all APTA CSM CEUs are considered online unless the local jurisdiction relaxes the rules due to the pandemic. (See the section below on state-specific information.)
Participants who achieve at least 70% accuracy on the post-tests will be able to immediately download a certificate noting the total CEUs for each session.
The post-test participation and certificate downloads from the virtual platform must be completed by March 31, 2021.
Registrant access to the conference platform closed on March 31. Registrants who didn't download their CEU certificates and transcripts for completed post-tests can contact the APTA Learning Center for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Approval and CEU/Contact Hour Information
APTA courses are accepted in all states and the District of Columbia, as allowed by the type of course requirements in state regulations.
A small number of states require APTA to seek preapproval of courses. APTA seeks these approvals and lists any relevant approval codes on the certificate of completion.
CEU/contact hour numerical information is provided for informational purposes only.
Each state has its own rules and regulations regarding how to calculate your licensure requirements for continuing education or continuing competence.
Certain APTA courses may not receive the same credit for the CEU/contact hours listed, and you must check your state’s specific rules. Please contact your state regulatory entity for specific questions.
If you need contact information for your regulatory entity, you may visit the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
